This presentation will discuss intellectual property matters that early startups should be considering, but are also applicable to established companies as well. The presentation will include a brief overview of the various types of IP protection that may be available, IP issues companies should consider early in the startup phase, along with how best to protect the Companies IP and be ready for any due diligence items that may be requested by potential investors.
Bio:
Tyler is an attorney at Gutwein Law who focuses primarily in intellectual property and business law. While he concentrates in the areas of patents and trademarks, he also has experience in copyright and trade secrets. In his practice, Tyler aims to get to know his clients and their business needs so that he is able to provide value added legal guidance. He aims to educate his clients, arming them with confidence to make the important decisions in their legal matters.
